The Champion Generator 6500 is a heavy-duty generator designed and manufactured for the rigors of work on a jobsite with an extreme-duty steel frame, locking handle, and steel lift hook for moving with a crane or forklift. The 6500 watt generator comes ready to perform on rugged jobsites.

A steel fuel tank holds 8.5 gallons of gasoline for a 12.5-hour run time at half the rated load. Idle Control runs the engine at a lower RPM to save fuel and reduce noise when power use drops to no load. A 389cc commercial grade engine for a long life and extended maintenance intervals. The alternator produces 120/240-Volts with Total Harmonic Distortion of less than 5%. Starts easily in cold weather with Champion’s Cold Start Technology.

CO Shield Carbon Monoxide Automatic Shutdown

CO Shield, a safety feature, automatically shuts off the generator if it detects Carbon Monoxide—before it reaches unsafe levels. CO Shield does not allow the generator to run indoors, with or without the windows open. Never run a generator in an enclosed space. Always use a Carbon Monoxide detector in your home. Position your generator at least 10 to 20 feet from your home with the exhaust pointing away from all buildings.
